Marinated anchovies "Boquerones" from Spain in olive oil
Hand filleted. Marinated in white wine vinegar. Their exquisite taste makes them unique.
They are among the most popular Spanish tapas and are simply served on bread, often with olives or pickled red peppers. The anchovies are hand filleted and marinated in wine vinegar. Once they have reached the right consistency, they are marinated in olive oil together with garlic and parsley.
If this fish is fished on the Cantabrian Sea coasts and weighs at least 4 kg, it shall be labelled 'Bonito del Norte', which shall be recorded in a control mark indicating the date of disembarkation, the vessel that caught it, the date of disembarkation, the tester/inspection team. Port of disembarkation and food quality seal.
This seal guarantees this product and differentiates it from the specimens caught by French and Irish fleets with the "volanta" system, i.e. with long nets which, apart from not being very considerate with the other fish species, also have the disadvantage that the removal is very exhausting for the fish and thus impairs its quality.
