Iberico ham from Extremadura
These Cebo ham from Extremaduras come from pure Iberian pigs, which can freely graze in the pastures of Extremadura, a natural paradise in the region of Extremadura. In Extremadura is the largest grazing area in the world, where the largest number of pigs of the pure Iberian breed come from. In these mountains the pigs feed on the acorns, grasses, herbs and wild plants, which gives this ham a unique flavor and the special taste of the ham from Extremadura. In order to remain faithful to this natural character, this ham is produced in the traditional way as it has been for hundreds of years and with a natural aging process.
The pure Iberian ham also requires a long maturation period, which means that one has a maturation period of about 2 years for the front ham and up to 4 years for the ham.
It is a product that is produced with great patience, so that the optimum maturity point and thus the highest quality is achieved.
