Salchichón de Vic - Salami from Vic with designation of origin.

The legitimate salami from Vic of Casa Riera Ordeix, unique. It is distinguished by its texture and taste. The aroma allows us to travel through time and space.

It is an authentic product with protected designation of origin since 2002, it concentrates the knowledge of more than 160 years of history.

The natural drying process gives the Salchichón de Vic Casa Riera Ordeixan inimitable bouquet.

This fine salami is made only from the best pork meat and is hand removed and freed from fat. It is seasoned with salt, pepper and saltpetre is then matured for at least four months in wood drying rooms from the penultimate century

The history of one Casa Riera Ordeixcan summarize in six generations that are moved by the love to the things made with illusion, respect and loyalty to the roots.

This way of working was initiated by the illustrious Vicense Josep Riera i Font and continued by his son Pau Riera Ordeix. This work was continued by Jose Riera Creixans and Manuel Riera Comella and gave prestige to the Salchichón from Vic. Today the heritage of this passion is continued by Joaquim Comella Benet and Joaquim comella Riera.
