Mousse of red paprika Piquillo- Hot peppers Anko
The province of Navarre in the north of Spain is known for its excellent quality of vegetables and for its Pimientos del Piquillo: an 8-10 cm wide, thin-walled and deep red pepper variety. Before their inimitable taste can unfold, the raw, slightly bitter Pimientos must first be grilled by hand on the barbecue and their skin removed. The delicate, light and spicy aroma of the pimientos, combined with the smoky note of the wood fire, makes it a very special taste sensation.
Anko mousse is made exclusively from fresh vegetables.
Vegetarian mousse is an enrichment for any kind of mousse and can be used as an aperitif dip, as a tapas and between meals, or processed into tasty soaps. As an accompaniment to fish or meat, the mousse is a natural and very healthy treat.
The "Mousse de Pimiento" is made from unseasoned Pimientos and is characterized by a refreshingly spicy aroma.
