Hello, this is Miguel España Muñoz, General Director of España e Hijos and founder of Embutidos y Jamones España e Hijos, S.A and I am going to tell you my biography so that you know the company with which you are sure to be willing to collaborate. My working life in the meat sector began in 1967 when I was working in the three best companies in the sector in those years Navidul, Industrias Cárnicas Cabo and Lagudana and being professional in the manufacture of sausages, and later sales. In 1985, at the age of 32, I decided to set up my own company in a village in the province of Toledo called Escalonilla. A company of 600 meters, and that little by little was growing from 600 to 1500 meters in the first extension, where the number of dryers and warehouses was increased to have greater capacity.  Then we went to 4000 meters where we expanded the office area and some new and large loin and sausage workshops and it was here that we bought the first thermoforming machines and our first slicer. Later we would grow up to 9000 meters with the construction of new dryers and chambers and a totally new ham department.

And finally up to the current 12,000 metres, where we built two more drying plants and natural cellars for the expansion of our production and the purchase of two new slicers, which allow us to meet the market demand for sliced products. It was in 2007 when we bought a ham dryer located in a village called Gerindote and only 4 Kms from us, with a capacity for 200,000 pieces of ham and land of 25,000 meters to expand. In spite of everything, we are a totally familiar company, since the first incorporation of my children was the one of Miguel Angel in the year 1990, then Diego in the year 1992 and later M ª Carmen in 1996 and the last Rubén in the year 2007. Today we are a modern and dynamic young company and meets all the quality standards that mark the European Economic Community and the best quality certificates worldwide obtained in the best ranks, where the treatment is still personal and direct with us, without waiting and served by the family Spain.
